In what turned out to be a wildly entertaining game of football, Liverpool scored two late goals within a span of a minute to prevail over Fulham 4-3 in the English Premier League 2023-24 season on Sunday, December 3. Liverpool were trailing 2-3 at Anfield, when goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 87th and 88th minutes respectively secured a comeback win for them. (Football News)
The Reds held the lead twice earlier in the match, but looked like they were going to lose a home bout for the first time since February 2023, as Bobby De Cordova-Reid put Fulham ahead in the 80th minute. However, Endo and Alexander-Arnold had other plans.

Liverpool took lead in the 20th minute through what was deemed to be an own goal from Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno, while attempting to parry Alexander-Arnold’s long-range 25-yard free kick. You can watch the video of Liverpool's first goal below.

The visitors levelled the scoreline again in the third minute of first-half's stoppage time, and then surged ahead via substitute De Cordova-Reid's header with less than 10 minutes left in regulation time. The late strike set the alarm bells ringing among home fans, but they didn't know what they were in for.
