Manchester City, the reigning English and European club football champions, will play their maiden FIFA Club World Cup match when they take on Japanese outfit Urawa Red Diamonds in the second semi-final of the 2023 edition at King Abdullah Sports City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Tuesday night. While Pep Guardiola's City have been given the luxury of entering the tournament in the last-four stage, Urawa started the campaign with a second-round win over Mexican side, Club Leon. Urawa are competing in the tournament for the third time. The winners of Manchester City Vs Urawa Red Diamonds will face Brazil's Fluminense FC in Friday's final. Fluminense, also competing in the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time, registered a hard-fought 2-0 win over Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the first semi-final.
