Lionel Messi touched down in United Arab Emirates ahead of Argentina’s warm-up game against UAE on 16th November. Messi trained with the Argentina camp on Monday at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The 2021 Copa America champions finish off their preparations with the warm-up game against UAE at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium. Argentina are grouped with Saudi Arabia, Poland and Mexico in Group C. The Argentines will first play Saudi Arabia on November 22 at the Lusail Stadium, followed by matches against Mexico on 27th November and Poland on 1st December. Argentina are said to be one of the favourites to win the World Cup and with a fit and firing Lionel Messi, it is a real possibility. The 35 year old will play in his fifth World Cup and will try to win it after coming extremely close in 2014.
