Hugo Boumous scored for Odisha in just the fourth minute but Manvir Singh cancelled the goal with a 36th minute strike for the Mariners.

Odisha were off to a bright start via a backpass mistake from Mariners defender Asish Rai. The foul gave the Juggernauts an indirect free kick from just about six yards and Boumous managed to put Odisha FC ahead.

After the early jolt, Mohun Bagan came up with consistent attacks on their opposition's goalpost. A corner in the 36th minute gave them the equaliser.

Dimitrios Petratos' perfect delivery towards the near post found a jumping Manvir Singh who headed home the equaliser for Mohun Bagan. The Mariners controlled the ball for the majority of the first half but both sides went into the break with the scores tied at 1-1

The second half saw Odisha making more attacks than Mohun Bagan but the Juggernauts could not find the winner. A few brilliant blocks from the Mariners goalkeeper Vishal Kaith stood out in the second half.

Ultimately, both sides had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The stalemate meant that Odisha's winless run against Mohun Bagan in the league stage of ISL continued. The draw also meant that the three-match winning streak of Mohun Bagan ended.

The draw puts the second-placed Mariners just three points behind leaders Bengaluru FC. Mohun Bagan now have four wins and two draws alongside a solitary defeat. They have played a game less than Bengaluru FC.

Odisha FC have now gone three matches without a win and have just nine points from eight games.

The ISL will now head for an international break with the return date being November 23. Talking about their next matches, Odisha FC will face Hyderabad FC on November 25, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant will take on Jamshedpur FC on November 23.
