After clinching a historic gold in equestrian team dressage on Day 3 of the 2023 Asian Games, in Hangzhou, there was more glory in store as the Indian contingent grew the medal tally to 22 on day 4. The day began with the team of Sift Kumar Samra, Ashi Chouksey and Manini Kaushik bagging silver in the shooting team event for 50m 3 Positions rifle. Then, the trio of Manu Bhaker, Rhythm Sangwan and Esha Singh clinched gold for India in the women's 25m pistol team event. Samra also bagged gold in the women's 50m 3P rifle event, with Ashi Chouksey claiming bronze.
