Team India beat New Zealand by six wickets in their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 fixture in Dharamsala recently. Virat Kohli missed out the century but nonetheless, the Men In Blue finally got one over the Black Caps in an ICC event after 20 years. However, Indian team is on a mini-break and in a video released by BCCI on X, formerly Twitter, the support staff including coach Rahul Dravid were seen taking a trek to Triund in Dharamsala. “A day off for the squad is a day well spent in the hills for the support staff. Dharamsala done. Taking some positive vibes to Lucknow next,” the caption of the video read.

“Superb view coming up to Triund. Just getting here, you are going up the mountain, climbing. It’s a challenging trek, I must admit it,” said Dravid in the video.

“Once you come here, the views are breathtaking, spectacular. It’s incredible for the support staff to be able to come here. Just a great day out as well,” he added.

“Unfortunately, can’t bring the boys up here, a bit too risky walking on those stones,” said Dravid.

“But hopefully, one day when they are not playing (any tournament), I would love for some of the boys to come here and experience this,” he added.

India next play against defending champions England on October 29 in Lucknow  and take on Sri Lanka in Mumbai on November 2.
