The Indian Premier League (IPL) season 17 is nearing with every passing day. With the IPL trade window open, fans are exploring the possibilities of having their favourite player in their favourite team. After the recently concluded IPL 2024 mini-auction in Dubai, all teams are almost ready for the upcoming season with their updated squad. (Cricket News)
Indian star batter Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore team have not won any IPL trophy so far. Whereas, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are two teams that have won the title for the most five times each. Former Indian captain and current Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni encountered a fan's query related to that during an event. A fan asked him to support RCB this season and help them win their maiden IPL title.
In response, Dhoni said all the teams in the IPL are strong and the difference is the availability of the players. He turned down the suggestion by reflecting on what would CSK fans feel if he supported another team.
"RCB is a very good team. Also what you need to see is that in Cricket, everything doesn't go according to the plan. So, if you are talking about the IPL, all the 10 teams are strong. The problem arises when you miss some players because of injury or other reasons. So, they are a very good team.

Everybody has a fair chance in IPL and as of now, I have so many things to worry about in my own team. I would like to wish every team all the very best. But more than that, I can't really do much as of now. Because, imagine me coming out of the way to support or help some other team win, how will our (CSK) fans feel", answered Dhoni.
