He also highlighted the paramount role of physicality in today's game.
He asserted that all top-level players, today, possess flexibility, explosiveness, and strength. According to him, what sets the current era apart, is the pervasive presence of extensive support teams, including physiologists, psychologists, nutritionists, and analytics experts.
The legendary 36-year-old tennis player stressed the significance of the growing professionalism in the sport. He underlined the importance of monitoring fitness levels, following a proper dietary plan, and getting regular medical check-ups. Despite the increased professionalism, Djokovic acknowledged the challenges players face. He attributed injuries to the faster pace of the game, an increase in matches and tournaments, changes in formats, and participation in off-season exhibition events.

He urged them to be judicious about their calendars, emphasising the need to consider the bigger picture.
