Three intriguing contests in two different martial arts disciplines have been added to ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian on Prime Video on Friday, August 4.
Slated to air live in North American primetime from the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the event is topped by a massive ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title showdown. And with the addition of these bouts, fans have even more reasons to tune in.
Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John Lineker will return to action for the first time since losing to new divisional king Fabricio Andrade earlier this year, as the heavy-handed Brazilian is set to clash with former top-five ranked featherweight Kim Jae Woong.
For Lineker, this will be an opportunity to prove he still belongs among the bantamweight elite and is ready for his chance to regain the World Title. Meanwhile, Kim is hoping to upset the former World Champion and prove he’s a legitimate threat in the bantamweight ranks.
Earlier in the evening, 20-year-old Filipino prodigy Jhanlo Mark Sangiao will square off against surging Mongolian Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu in a bantamweight MMA showdown that has the makings of an all-out war for as long as it lasts.
Both men are undefeated in ONE Championship, and both surely recognize that this pivotal showdown will propel the winner closer to the division’s top-five rankings.
Also on the card, Rodrigo Marello – owner of the fastest-ever finish in a ONE submission grappling bout – will welcome fellow Brazilian athlete Diego “Pato” Oliveira to the world’s largest martial arts organization.
A three-time IBJJF World Champion, “Pato” represents one of the most exciting recent additions to ONE’s growing stable of top-tier ground fighters. He’ll be looking to make a statement in his promotional debut and earn a finish in this bantamweight submission grappling matchup.
