Liga MX: Mexican Side Club America Clinches 14th Title After Beating Tigres In Final

Club America have kept their phenomenal record of Liga MX titles to 14 after defeating Tigres 4-1 on aggregrate in the 2023 Apertura final. The first leg was a 1-1 draw at the Tigres' Estadio Universitario, but Club America brought their 'A-game' to the second leg at their home stadium, Estadio Azteca with a 3-0 win through extra time. Goals from Julian Quinones (91), Richard Sanchez (104) and Jonathan Rodriguez (120) settled the tie for Club America.
