England will look for their second straight win in Group 1 when they clash with Bangladesh in a Super-12 T20 World Cup 2021 match in Abu Dhabi Wednesday afternoon. Bangladesh lost their first match against Sri Lanka after both teams qualified to this stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. England will be upbeat after their win against defending champions West Indies. More than the win, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid's ability to spin out the Caribbeans for a paltry 55, will inspire Eoin Morgan's team to keep Bangladesh in check. Interestingly, this will be the first time England and Bangladesh will clash in a T20 international. The Bangla Tigers will need a solid team effort to match England. So far, Mohammad Naim has shown with the bat with two fifties in three innings but the top and middle order will have to do more. Shakib Al Hasan remains the fulcrum of the Bangladesh team but they will need more match-winners at this stage of the competition. England's batting remains a worry. Morgan's poor form that started with the IPL 2021 in UAE continues. But there is enough experience in the England top half as Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy are perfectly capable of grabbing quick runs. Follow live cricket scores of BAN vs ENG here.

18:35 PM IST: England win

It's all over. Jonny Bairstow pulls Shoriful Islam for a boundary to bring an emphatic win for England by eight wickets. England win two in two while Bangladesh have lost both their Super 12 games.

Meanwhile, the other match of the night is between Namibia and Scotland. Read the live blog and follow the preview.

What a catch by Nasum Ahmed at the third man boundary. Shoriful bowls short, Jason Roy upper cuts, Nasum runs inside to take a brilliant diving catch. But the job as been done as Roy departs for 38-ball 61. England 114/2 (13).

18:20 PM IST: Roy fifty

The body language says it all for Bangladesh. The aggression that they are known for is missing from the players. For England, both their wins (they are winning here) have come easily. Meanwhile, Jason Roy brings up his fifty with a brutal six off Nasum Ahmed.  England 102/1  (12)

18:10 PM IST: England on cruise mode

16:48 PM IST: Mahmudullah departs

Liam Livingstone is having his day. After the big wicket of Rahim, the Englishman now dismisses rival captain Mahmudullah, caught by Chris Woakes for 19. As it seems, it will be tough for Bangladesh to reach the 150-run mark. Bangladesh 83/6 (15)

16:37 PM IST: Bangla lose fifth

Oh, Dear! Bangladesh have lost half of their side with just 72 runs on board. A huge mix up between Mahmudullah and Afif Hossain results in the latter sacrificing his wicket. Bangladesh 76/5 (13)

16:28 PM IST: Liam removes the Living-Stone Rahim

Liam Livingstone strikes in his first over. And he dismisses Mushfiqur Rahim, plumb in front for 29. Bangladesh are in big big trouble. Again, Eoin Morgan so apt with his bowling changes. Bangladesh 63/4 (11)

16:19 PM IST: Rahim, Mahmudullah shine

50 up for Bangladesh. Mushfiqur Rahim is slowly opening his arms while Mahmudullah is playing the second fiddle. Couple of fours from both the batsmen no matter how they come from.  Mahmudullah (12*), Rahim (27*). Bangladesh 60/3 (10)

15:49 PM IST: Moeen Ali strikes

Just what the doctor ordered. Moeen Ali dismisses both the openers in the third over to put Bangladesh in spot of bother early. He dismisses Liton Das (9) and Md Naim (5), Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim currently at the crease. Bangladesh 15/3 (3)
