After a blockbuster debut on American soil earlier this year, ONE Championship is now preparing to return to the United States for several more captivating shows in 2024.
On Thursday, July 20, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced that the world’s largest martial arts organization will be holding four live events in the U.S. next year.
The news follows the success of the promotion’s U.S. debut, ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, which emanated from the sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado on Friday, May 5. That card was headlined by a ONE Flyweight MMA World Title trilogy match between defending champion Demetrious Johnson and former divisional king Adriano Moraes.
When ONE returns to the country next year, American fans can expect to see more of their favorite martial arts superstars across MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling.
Sityodtong said:
“I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship is coming back to the U.S. with four massive events in 2024. When we made our historic U.S. debut with ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, I was blown away by the support we received from our fans in the U.S.
“ONE is home to the greatest martial artists in the world, and I’m excited to once again showcase our World Champions on American soil. To our fans that haven’t seen a live ONE event, I promise you an experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”
The promotion’s North American expansion comes on the heels of a game-changing deal with Amazon’s global streaming platform, Prime Video.
In April 2022, ONE announced a partnership with the streaming giant, which will exclusively broadcast 12 primetime martial arts events annually in the U.S. and Canada.
That partnership officially kicked off with ONE Fight Night 1 in August 2022, and since then, the world’s largest martial arts organization has continued to deliver its biggest shows in North American primetime on Prime Video each month.
Dates and locations for the 2024 U.S. events have yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned to onefc.com for more details.
