The visitors spread festive cheer by handing out gifts and sweets to the Australian team and their families. In a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood and support staff are seen presenting a gift basket to Aussie skipper Pat Cummins.

"That was just great. Just a Merry Christmas gift and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a really good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us,” Cummins later told ESPN Australia.
On the field, Pakistan will look to bounce back after Australia handed them a 360-run drubbing in the first Test. The Boxing Day Test begins at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
