Virat Kohli celebrated his wedding anniversary with a stunning knock which helped India thrash the West Indies in the winners take all series finale at Mumbai on Wednesday. The skipper even dedicated his man of the series award to wife Anushka Sharma, but the defining moment of the 3rd T20I match at iconic Wankhede Stadium involved something else, someone else.

Put in to bat by the Windies captain Kieron Pollard, India got off a flier with openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul stitching 135-run opening stand in just 70 balls. India did lose two quick wickets in the form of Rohit and blue-eyed boy Rishabh Pant, then arrived Kohli, in the 13th over.

He soon took charge by playing some unbelievable shot. It took only five balls for him to hit first of the seven sixes. But he was waiting for Kesrick Williams to settle some scores. And it came in the 15th over. Windies pacer, known for his notebook celebration, started brightly, forcing Kohli to block the first two balls.

As the innings progressed, Kohli started opening up. In the 18th over, Kohli hit Williams for a biggie and he didn't waste much time to show who's the boss. Reminding everyone of his rivalry with Williams, Kohli looked into the eyes of the bowler and expressed disbelief of his own stroke, as if saying what I have done.

Watch what really happened then:

It indeed was the shot Kohli enjoyed the most on Wednesday, and will remain for some time. Kohli made an unbeaten knock of 70 runs off 29 balls to help India set a target of 241 runs for the Windies. India then restricted the visitors for 173/8 to register a thumping 78-run win and take the series 2-1.
