Indian national cricket team take on the West Indies in a winners take all ODI series finale at Cuttack on Sunday, with the match starting at 1:30 local time. India lost the first match, then hit back in style to level the series. The third ODI match will be India's final international match of the year, 2019.
India are eyeing a 10th straight bilateral series win over the Caribbean side, while the Windies are looking to end a 13-year long wait to win against India. Virat Kohli & Co, who lost to Australia 2-3 in their last bilateral series in March, will have their reputation at stake. They have not lost two consecutive bilateral ODI series at home in the last 15 years.
But the venue is a minefield for Indian captain Kohli, who has scored only 34 runs in four matches across formats at the Barabati Stadium. Also, he is having a bad run in the series, scoring 4 and 0 at Chennai and Visakhapatnam respectively.
The last time an ODI was played here more than two years ago, India scored 382 to beat England by 15 runs. And again, it's likely to be a run-fest. Both teams have enough firepower.
