Zimbabwe notched a consolation win over Afghanistan in the tri-series tournament. Hamilton Masakadza was on fire, registering a half century, thereby helping his side grab a maiden T20I win over Afghanistan at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong. Having won the toss, and opting to bat first, Afghanistan reached 155/8, setting a 156 target. Zimbabwe put in a good display while batting, staging a comeback, courtesy to some fine batting performance by their captain Hamilton, who also played his last international match. He registered 71 runs off only 42 balls to set up the chase.
