KL Rahul hit his fourth ODI hundred as India fight to save the face against New Zealand in the third and final match at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on Tuesday.
New Zealand won the toss and asked India to bat first, and the visitors once again failed to get a good start with Mayank Agarwal lasting only three balls. Skipper Virat Kohli too didn't last long, getting out for nine off 12 balls. Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer rebuilt the innings.
After that, Rahul and Manish Pandey took over. Rahul reached the landmark in 104 balls, with the help of nine fours and one six.
The 27-year-old hit an unbeaten 88 in the first ODI, then managed four runs in the second.
