Rajasthan Royals returned to winnings ways with a convincing 6-wicket victory over fellow strugglers Kolkata Knight Riders in the 18th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Mumbai on Saturday. After winning the toss, RR restricted KKR to a 133/9 with Chris Morris taking four wickets for 23 runs. Rahul Tripathi top-scored for KKR with 26-ball 36. Then, RR chased down the target with seven balls to spare at Wankhede Stadium. Skipper Sanju Samson hit an unbeaten 42 while Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube contributed with 22 runs each. Needing 30 in 30 balls, RR slowed down the tempo but managed to cross the line without much fuss. This was RR's second win in five matches, while KKR suffered a fourth defeat in the same number of matches.
