Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, met with the medallists from the bygone Asian Para Games 2022 following the contingent’s record-breaking performance in Hangzhou, China. India won a historic 111 medals, 29 among those gold, finishing fifth overall.
Sheetal Devi (Para-Archer), Rakesh Kumar (Para-Archer), Suraj (Para-Archer), Bhavina Patel (Para-TT), Ekta Bhyan (Para-Athletics), Nishad Kumar (Para-Athletics), Pramod Bhagat (Para-Badminton), Krishna Nagar (Para-Badminton) along with the Coaches were present at the meet-and-greet at Thakur’s residence.
