Singh's knock from number five helped Chhattisgarh lodge a total 342 - after losing just six wickets - in 50 overs. The all-rounder contriuted to 152 of those 342 runs, a total he touched in just 112 balls, courtesy of a well-paced innings that saw him hit 12 fours and seven sixes. Later, with the ball, Singh tricked five Manipur batters into throwing away their wickets as their run-chase desolved into nothingness; Manipur finished on 254/9, with Singh the obvious standout from his team's bowling line-up.
Thirty-two-years of age, Singh debuted in the Indian Premier League in 2022 with Sunrisers Hyderabad. He played ten games for the playoff hopefuls but scored just 65 runs. He had previously been on the books of Delhi Capitals in 2017 and Rajasthan Royals between 2019 and 2021.
