Team India is all set to gear up for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 as star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen interacting with fans and paparazzi at the airport. The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be participating in a training camp that will be held on August 24 before the team travel to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup 2024.
According to reports, a five-day skill-enhancement camp will see the entire Asia Cup squad participate that will be led by coach Rahul Dravid and the members of the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee.
In a press conference announcing the Asia Cup squad, skipper Rohit Sharma had expressed his 'excitement' at having a crack at the 'skill-based training' with the Indian squad.
"There is the 5-day camp in Bengaluru. After a long time, we have had the opportunity to get all the players in for some skill-based training. We can rectify our weakness," Rohit said.
The likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma, who part of the Ireland tour, will most likely join the camp on August 25.

India's first encounter at the Asia Cup 2023 sees them take on arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
