French superstar Kylian Mbappe's brother, Ethan Mbappe, joined him on the pitch for the very first time in Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 victory over FC Metz in Ligue 1 2023-24 on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Sixteen-year-old Ethan, who is a technical, left-footed midfielder by trade, replaced Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte late on to make his official debut for the Parisians. By then, though, PSG had raced clear of Metz and were bound to go five clear on Ligue 1 summit ahead of chasers OGC Nice. (Football News)
Watch Ethan Mbappe make his debut here:
Born in Montreuil, France, the younger Mbappe joined AS Bondy in 2015 for his youth training before arriving in Paris with his elder brother once he had completed his sensational transfer from AS Monaco. Ethan Mbappe, then, trained with the PSG youth teams and represented them across several youth competitions, including the UEFA Youth League, before ascending to the senior level in December 2023. The midfielder had already once made the PSG first team squad before for a crucial tie against Nice, although on that occasion he had not been involved in the final match.
Meanwhile, it was a day to remember for the Mbappes as Kylian scored twice to help his team extend its lead at the top of the table. The 25-year-old has now scored 18 times in 16 league games this season and 233 in 282 overall for Paris Saint-Germain.
