Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who turned 42 on July 7, shared a video online to thank everyone for the birthday wishes extended to him.
Taking to Instagram, Dhoni posted a video captioned, "Thanks a lot for all your warm wishes, a glimpse of what I did on my birthday."
In the video, Dhoni is seen blowing out the candles on a tiny cake and is surrounded by his dogs, who jump around playfully.
Dhoni, on his birthday, received birthday wishes on social media from the cricketing fraternity as well as outside of it.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain recently won the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), defeating defending champions Gujarat Titans in the final.
Dhoni currently plays only in the IPL.
The former Indian captain played 90 Tests, scoring 4,876 runs at an average of 38.09, including six hundreds and 33 fifties. He also played 350 ODIs for India, amassing 10,773 runs with 10 hundreds and 73 fifties to his name. In T20Is, he represented Indian 98 times, scoring 1,617 runs. He announced his international retirement on August 15, 2020 through social media.
