At the stroke of lunch, West Indies batter Jermaine Blackwood played a rash shot off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling. The Caribbean batter didn’t time the ball well. Mohammed Siraj, who is generally known for his aggressive bowling plucked a catch out of thin air while fielding at mid-off. Siraj caught the looping ball which was going over his head with a spectacular dive.

Twitter went crazy celebrating the blinder of a catch as tweets poured in all over the micro-blogging site.

A Twitter user compared Siraj's catch with a plane and a bird as such was his pyrotechnics.

Another user hailed it as the catch of the series.

After choosing to bat first, West Indies have been reduced to 68-4, following a twin-wicket blow by Ravichandran Ashwin with Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja both claiming each. After dismissing Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Ashwin has become the first bowler to dismiss the father-son duo in Test Cricket. Tagenarine's father legendary Shivnarine Chanderpaul also fell prey to the off-spinner in his playing days.
