The bhoomi pujan for construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be held on August 5. PM Narendra Modi is likely to attend the ceremony. The gathering would be limited to 200 people for adequate social distancing because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The government has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for 2018-19 by two months till September 30. This is the third extension because of the coronavirus crisis. In March, the date was extended from March 31 to June 30. In June, it was extended by a month till July 31.
