Shivam's is an Indian International cricketer, who is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in January 2023. His journey in cricket began at the domestic level, as he represented the Uttar Pradesh cricket team at various age-group tournaments. His consistent performances at the junior level earned him a spot in the India U-19 team for the 2018 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup. In July 2018, he was selected to play for the India A cricket team in the 2018 India Quadrangular series against South Africa. In 2018, he was also selected for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. In November 2019, he replaced the injured Arshdeep Singh in India’s team for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

He made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018-2019 Ranji Trophy on 1st November 2018 against Goa.

In the 2018 U-19 World Cup, Shivam played a crucial role in India's title-winning campaign, picking up 9 wickets in 6 matches. This performance earned him a call-up to the India A team, where he continued to impress with his pace and accuracy.

Shivam's breakthrough moment came in 2018 when he was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his IPL debut in the 2018 season and went on to pick up 5 wickets in 9 matches. However, his 2019 IPL campaign was cut short due to a rib injury.

In the 2020 IPL season, Shivam returned to the KKR squad and picked up 16 wickets in 14 matches, helping the team reach the playoffs. His consistent performances in the IPL earned him a call-up to the Indian national team for the tour of Australia in 2020-21.

Shivam made his international debut for India in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in January 2023, where he picked up 4 wickets in 3 matches. This impressive debut performance helped India secure a thrilling 2-run victory in the opening T20I.

Since his international debut, Shivam has continued to be a part of the Indian team, representing the country in both T20Is and ODIs.

In 2018, he was named the 'Player of the Tournament' in the U-19 World Cup. In the 2020 IPL season, he was awarded the 'Emerging Player of the Season' award.
