This would probably be the first in a series of advice and help I would seek from you. We are three families. For starters, can I book train tickets directly on the Trenitalia website? Or is that permitted only for EU citizens? And if I can, will I get an electronic ticket? If not, then which is the site where I can book the cheap point to point tickets in advance (I saw as low as 9 euros when booked 1 month in advance)? A connected query – What is your advice on the best form of foreign currency for online bookings? My credit card or a dedicated forex card? Thanks in advance.
