Around 2,000 chefs across five continents are coming back with their spread of French cuisine on March 21. Celebrating the third edition of the annual global event, Goût de France / Good France, in India around 65 restaurants are going to offer a menu featuring a gourmet French meal (aperitif and canapés, entrée, main course(s), cheese platter, dessert, and French wines and champagnes). In Delhi, the two Michelin star Chef Akrame Benalla will be giving a special masterclass to the chefs of the restaurants participating in Delhi on March 20 at the Embassy of France.
Besides, Delhi other places where people can enjoy their bite of French cuisine are Jaipur, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Indore, Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chennai, Puducherry, Kerala, and Kolkata.
Goût de France was launched by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development under the aegis of three-star chef Alain Ducasse. The thought behind the celebration, ‘the event paid tribute to a vibrant, open and innovative cuisine, while remaining true to its values of sharing, pleasure, respect for good food and for the planet’, as per diplomatie.gouv.fr.
