There’s nothing like a charming neighbourhood festival to light up the drab winter days. Now in it’s 34th year, The Spring Food Festival would certainly qualify as a great weekend out. To be held on February 5 at the Lajpat Bhawan in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, be sure to attend if you’re a fan of home-cooked pan-Indian cuisine. You can look forward to main courses, bakes, salads, kebabs, chaats, pickles and preserves, as well as a variety of desserts. And food is not all that you can get here. There will be stalls selling clothes, gifts and books, while children can enjoy a giant wheel, as well as other games and rides. The entry ticket will be for ₹30 per head, while a meal for two would come to anywhere between ₹300-₹500. For more information, get in touch with Ms. Sreelata, +91-98103-64449.
