AIR INDIA has announced non-stop flights from New Delhi to Ma­drid thrice a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), starting December 1, 2016. It has also added another international flight route to its schedule, connect­ing Ahmedabad to Newark in New Jersey, USA via London. A Boeing 787, it operates thrice a week and takes off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport. See airindia.in

JET AIRWAYS and its partner airline, Gulf carrier ETI­HAD AIRWAYS, have announced an expansion of their network by adding an additional 28 flights, and intro­ducing three new destinations start­ing early 2017. The expansion includes doubling the flight frequency between Abu Dhabi and Ahmedabad from February 1 and also launching a fourth daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Kozhikode, starting March 26, 2017. INDIGO launches its first non-stop flight between Muscat and Chennai, starting December 16, 2016. Other new routes that will expand the airline’s network: its first non-stop between Bengaluru and Indore and its first daily flight between Patna and Raipur. See goindigo.in
