Pankaj Sekhsaria has spent over 20 years in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in conservation and research work. Stands to reason then that he’s seen facets of this gorgeous archipelago that few have had the privilege of viewing. These 10 photographs, which form a part of a larger exhibition of his images, give a glimpse into the secret life of these islands, from a newly hatched Hawksbill turtle heading for the sea to fiddler crabs playing amongst the mangroves. At the exhibition, Sekhsaria’s photographs are reproduced on silk, giving a greater aesthetic vibe.
