Armed installation

A fully loaded MIG-27 ML is now on display in Shillong. Placed at the entrance to the Advance Landing Ground (ALG) in Upper Shillong, the fighter craft carries its full complement of missiles and bombs, though a retiree. A veteran of Kargil and Operation Parakram (on the Indo-Pak border), the aircraft has two thousand hours on its dials, and is currently in the deployment of the Eastern Air Command.
