Swiss, Europe’s excellent ‘boutique’ airline, is stepping up its game. The airline, which serves 102 destinations in 46 countries out of its hubs in Zurich and Geneva, will introduce its new, refurbished aircrafts equipped with Panasonic technology, eXConnect for internet and eXPhone for telephony as part of extending its SWISS Connect internet connectivity by 2018. With daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai, the airline has also added Bollywood movies to its in-flight entertainment and an Indian menu to suit the needs of Indian travellers. Three new first-class Swiss lounges have also opened their doors in Zurich’s Terminal E. They are equipped with working areas, rest zones, restaurants and even bars, so you can enjoy a glass of some fine whisky (more than 200 types of whiskies are available). Naturally, with views of the Swiss Alps from the window.
