Blue Ginger: On a culinary trail through Vietnam

To celebrate Vietnamese National Week, Blue Ginger in Delhi, is offering a special menu until September 10, 2015. Belonging to Taj Palace, New Delhi, it is the capital’s contemporary Vietnamese restaurant. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam just celebrated its 70th National Day on September 2. In honour of Vietnam’s National Day, Blue Ginger’s Vietnamese chef, Hana, has curated a special menu that will take the diners on a culinary journey through this little-known South East Asian country. Keeping in mind the diversity of Vietnam’s musical heritage—especially the 50 traditional musical instruments—the menu is a spectacular symphony of flavours, with signature dishes such as Hu Tieu Sadec, Che Suong Sao Banh Lot or Ca Chem Chung Tuong Hot. The menu, which includes a variety of salads, soups, grills, curries and stir fries, will be liked by those who want to eat healthy. Blue Ginger takes its design cue from the influence of the French-Colonial aesthetics that still suffuse Vietnamese society.
