Luxury has been taken up a notch at the Cathay Pacific Pier First Class lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, recently reopened after renovation by renowned designer Isle Crawford. Besides a dining area and lounge, there are eight suites fitted with daybeds, a reading light, a mirror and a curtain to preserve your privacy, as well as shower cubicles. Passengers even receive complimentary foot massages, and head-and-shoulder massages are available on request. Famished passengers can also dine at the dining room where a resident chef prepares a variety of dishes to their liking. The pantry provides more of a quick-fix featuring several snacks that change throughout the day. Sounds like the kind of place we’d like to lounge in.
