Bangkok-based low cost airlines Thai Vietjet Air (a subsidiary of the Vietnamese Vietjet Air) is now operating direct flights between Bodhgaya, the Buddhist pilgrimage centre in Bihar (India) and Thailand’s capital city. The flights depart Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport every Saturday at 1130, to reach Gaya Airport three hours later. The return flight leaves the same day at 1410 and arrives in Bangkok at 1840.
