People travelling to India, welcome! The government has updated the e-visa policy for citizens from 161 countries. Eight more airports besides the earlier 16 will welcome tourists with e-visas. Also, the one-month window for e-visa application is now up to four months, and a visitor can stay for a good two months—that too with double entry on an eTourist Visa. Other changes include two new types of visas, one for those coming to pursue internships and another for those wanting to make films. There will also be a special immigration counter for medical tourists at the airports.
