It’s time for flying rosogollas and kheer kadams. No, the traditional Bengali favourites have not become extra light, instead they are being flown and served on Vistara. One of India’s newest and fastest growing airlines, Vistara has added Kolkata to its expanding network. Kolkata now becomes Vistara’s fourth destination in east India and 17th overall. The airline, which is being rapidly acknowledged for the experiential difference it brings to Indian domestic flyers, will position this leading eastern metropolis as a gateway for both leisure and business travellers. The 158-seater new aircraft will fly in the reconfigured three classes. The airline is giving an introductory price of Rs 2,499.
