Light parade in Hong Kong Disneyland

Starting October 1, Hong Kong Disneyland is welcoming visitors with a spectacular new show, the ‘Disney Paint the Night’ parade. This show runs from October to December and consists mainly of seven massive floats, decorated with more than 740,000 individual lights that bring to life stories from the Disney and Disney Pixar films. The other promotions for October at the theme park are ‘Disney Haunted Halloween’ and ‘Disney Sparkling Christmas’. ‘Disney Paint the Night’ is a fully LED parade created by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The creative floats are based on Tinkerbell, Monsters Inc., Cars, The Little Mermaid Unit, Toy Story and, of course, Mickey Mouse and his friends. During two show-stop moments of ‘Disney Paint the Night’, guests will be able to “paint the night” with the Paint Brush. This technology can change the colours of the performers’ costumes at the touch of a button. Among merchandise items are ‘Mickey Glow Mitt’ and ‘Minnie Glow Bow’.
