The annual Lusofonia Festival, held in Macau brings together people from various countries and regions that were former Portuguese colonies. The major events for the 18th edition to be held this year—from October 23-25, 2015—include live musical performances, traditional games, exhibition and sale of handmade products, art collections and snacks. People from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe and East Timor are expected to participate. Goa, Daman and Diu from India are also participating. The Taipa Houses-Museum promenade and surrounding streets and lanes of Taipa village are decked out in traditional Portuguese style.
