Goa Tourism Development Corporation is organising a monsoon trek to the Gungudyacho waterfall on September 6, 2015. The 6-km round trail is said to be one of the easiest treks in the Chorla Ghats of Goa. As you go near the waterfall, you will hear a tinkling sound which gives the waterfall its name “Gungudyacho”. Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa and Margao at 8am and from Panaji’s Paryatan Bhavan at 9am. The registration fee of Rs 700 per head includes food (vegetarian). Carry along an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, snacks and drinking water, and binoculars.
