Helen had the face to launch a thousand ships in Homer’s day, we hear. In our good times, the Hellenic brand is launching a hundred hydrodromes for its fleet of seaplanes. To wreathe the Grecian isles by the end of the year, these floating piers will support a new aerial network of 10 routes flown by Twin Otter 19-seater craft, based out of Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Volos, Crete, Santorini, Kos and Mylos. Unlike the uncertain ferry links, the meltemi won’t phase these Canadian geese, we guess!
