The Bloomsbury Hotel – located in the heart of literary London – is offering guests the opportunity to ‘Unlock Sherlock’ with a Sherlock Holmes package at the hotel. The Bloomsbury Hotel’s Sherlock Holmes package starts from £295 and includes an overnight stay for two people, full English breakfast, two tickets to the Sherlock Holmes exhibition at the Museum of London (an exhibition — running until 12th April 2015 — of early film, photography and paintings plus original Victorian era artefacts to recreate the atmosphere of Sherlock’s London), Sherlock Holmes afternoon tea (that includes among other things pastries in the shape of the iconic spider back chair design by Lutyens and the detective’s famous magnifying glass) and a Sherlock Holmes miniature book. The package is available from 5th January 2015 until 12th April 2015. The Sherlock Holmes miniature book is a replica of ‘How Watson Learned The Trick’ written exclusively for Queen Mary’s Doll’s House by Conan Doyle. Sir Edwin Lutyens – the architect of the Bloomsbury hotel – himself designed the famous Doll’s House.
