The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa (2,722 feet tall with 160 floors), gets a new observation deck on its 148th floor (1,821 feet); it is the world’s highest observation deck, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. It has beaten the earlier world record holder, the Canton Tower, with its 1,601 elevated observation deck, in Guangzhou, China.
Previously at Burj Khalifa, tourists could go up to the 124th floor to witness the spectacular view of the Middle Eastern city. The 124th floor will remain open for those tourists who may not want to go the 148th floor for any reason.
The cost of pre-booked tickets is $109 and for instant entry is $137. For tickets, visit www.burjkhalifa.ae/en/
