When it comes to capturing the essence of Rajasthan in a photograph, most photographers tend to go for the grandeur of the state’s built heritage. Photographer Sudhir Kasliwal, however, eschews this approach and focuses on the people and their lives. He uses a wide variety of formats, including glass negatives, 35 mm’s and digital photography, to reveal the mystery and drama of the daily lives of the people of Rajasthan. You can see for yourself at Wander.lens, an exhibition of Kasliwal’s photography, hosted by Sanskriti Foundation at Bikaner House from April 9 to April 17 (10:30 am to 6:30 pm).
