A quiet getaway in the Sahyadris

Sitting in the shadow of the Sahyadris, the 19 stone-clad rooms and cottages make a sweet spot to escape the madness of Mumbai and the plod of Pune (an hour away). It’s a neat, calm place to relax; don’t expect activities and excursions, or the glamour of Lavasa. Rooms are as good as the cottages here: The view of the Mulshi dam in the monsoon rains is romantic enough for the young at heart. Our young family found the resort infant-friendly, with room to roam, kiddie pool and considerate service that allowed for the preferences of tiny (or full-sized) tummies.
