It takes an amazon to take the trendiest technophilic photos now, it seems. An amazon.in account, that is, since the e-commerce portal has an exclusive line on the new Samsung NX mini, being touted as the lightest (158g) and slimmest (22.5mm) camera with interchangeable lenses. The site lists two kits, with an NX-M9mm F3.5 ED wide-angle lens or a NX-M9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS zoom. The camera integrates wi-fi and NFC, of course, making it a great tandem technology to pair with your smartphone; it also comes Flickr- and Dropbox-ready, with 1TB and 2GB of storage offered by each. The body is a nod to more traditional times, with leather finish on solid metal — except the leather comes in pink, mint, brown and white as well as black. In a wink to today’s trends, on the other hand, it is selfie-savvy — just wink and it takes a shot! A special NX-M mount adaptor allows for 15 different NX lenses to be loaded on board. The 3-inch touchscreen can be flipped 180 degrees for easy viewing, and the 1-inch BSI CMOS sensor boasts 20.5 megapixels. Certainly, one of the easiest photographer’s caddies to tote, this one.
