This one’s for the nostalgists: an app that takes you back to a now-sepia-tinted age of snail mail, when one eagerly waited for the postman’s knock. An app that helps you make postcards feels like a pleasing oxymoron—but at least it’s pleasing. Touchnote lets you make customised holiday postcards, greeting cards, canvases and photo frames by offering a range of templates, multiple layouts and framing options for your pictures, and space for captions and messages—all in a user-friendly interface. Once you are done designing, simply enter the address of the person(s) to whom you wish to send it, pay with a certain number of credits (1 credit is $2.99) via PayPal, and voila!, your postcard will be delivered to the desired recipient in a week. A bonus: no extra charge for international delivery.
