Beatles for sale

Beatles memorabilia and I have an unholy relationship based on greed. If I see an item, no matter how ridiculous, I want it. So much so that sundry friends who travel have been instructed to get me only Beatles-stuff if they can, or nothing at all. Imagine my delight, then, when while sauntering down Göteborg’s pretty old Haga district on a sunny day I happened upon these coasters. This tiny souvenir shop had the usual Swedish flags and cute trolls, but also a bunch of official Beatles merchandise (including massive trays) made in Sweden. Apart from China, Sweden is the only other country that makes Beatles merchandise. Part of the album-cover series, I promise I won’t ever actually put something on them. I picked up four of my favourite album covers for Swedish kronor 45 each.
