She sells seashells on the seashore… Remember the tongue twister? . . I was in Chennai recently and went to the Marina Beach after years thanks to a friend's insistence. It was hot but the cold water soared our spirits. On our way back, we passed so many pretty shops selling seashells. This was so colourful that I had to stop and take a picture. The seller has been doing this for 35 years now. With demonitization affecting all, he said sales have dropped drastically. But he would soon join the online brigade because 'people see and want to buy. They just don't have cash'. . . If you find yourself at Marina Beach in Chennai go check out his pretty wares.
